About Us

Hi y'all! I'm Jenny Selph owner and designer of Isla James Designs.  Isla James Designs has come to fruition after years of being...well...stuck. Stuck in school, stuck in a town, stuck in relationships, stuck in a job, and stuck in a financial hole. I have dreamed of a way to be able to enjoy my work, pay my bills, express myself creatively and artistically, and give myself freedom. 

Isla James Designs has given me a platform to do all of the above and so much more. My daughter, Isla James Selph, and the lines namesake has inspired me to be the best woman I can be. I want her to follow her dreams, be able to provide completely for herself, and live her best life without ever getting stuck. 

With that desire in mind I want to live by example and I want to build something that I can be proud of, have sole control of, and have something to give my precious girl if she so chooses for it to be hers one day.

Isla James Designs celebrates women. My pieces may be thrown on with jeans and a t-shirt or with a new dress and heels. Any way that a modern woman who is refined yet still has a bit of Boho in her spirit may need to accessorize, my pieces will work. I hope they inspire you and give you a boost of confidence in your life and to follow your dreams, too!
